Presidential Youth Fitness Program
In 2012, FitnessGram became the national fitness assessment when it was adopted by The Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP). PYFP is a voluntary program that includes an assessment, professional development, and motivational recognition to empower students to adopt and maintain an active lifestyle. Learn more.
FitnessGram is provided in partnership with NFL Foundations as a part of the NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram program. In 2009, NFL Foundation awarded The Cooper youth to be active 60 minutes a day. Learn more.
United Way of Metropolitan Dallas
The Cooper Institute and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas have partnered to promote health in schools with the Healthy Zone School Recognition Program®. This program gives schools resources to engage teachers, students, parents, and the broader community in a joint effort to improve the health of their communities. The program is open to all public, private, and charter schools in Dallas, Rockwall, Colin, and southern Denton counties. In 2014, it expanded to Arlington ISD. Learn mo Learn more.

In 2013, FitnessGram partnered with US Games to conduct the business of selling and distributing FitnessGram testing supplies and equipment. In April 2015, US Games began a partnership to be the exclusive sales and marketing partner for FitnessGram software. Learn more.
